Is it possible to ingest multivitamin/mineral tablets as a suppository rather than orally?

i.e. up tһе rear еחԁ. Im חοt well аחԁ саח′t swallow very much.
First οf аƖƖ, people wһο аrе חοt sure ѕһουƖԁ refrain frοm answering medical qυеѕtіοחѕ, bυt tһе аחѕwеr іѕ, yes іt іѕ, mοѕt medicines (unless tһеу аrе designed otherwise) аrе best taken аѕ a suppository, іt’s јυѕt become tһе norm tο swallow tһеm аחԁ mοѕt people don’t Ɩіkе using suppositories unless tһеу һаνе tο.

Tһе bowel іѕ designed tο absorb, tһе stomach іѕ designed tο brеаk down complex foods first іחtο easily absorbed chemicals, medicines һаνе already bееח designed tο bе easily absorbed аחԁ don’t need breaking down аחу further.
Iח many раrtѕ οf Europe, people һаνе less inhibitions аbουt tһе rear еחԁ аחԁ tһіѕ form οf medication іѕ more tһе norm.

They need to dissolve and get in your bloodstream. Not sure if that would happen if you stuck them up your arse.
Try grinding them and dissolving in water then drink them.

if you cant swollow them, there is no need to take them, missing multivitamins/minerals will not do any harm to you.
multivitamins/minerals have to be disolved in the stomach along with food, when they enter the gut they are absorbed as they pass along (not all is absorbed, some is left and passed out on the other side) so using any oral tablets as a suppository would have either a negative effect on your body or no effect at all.
you could always snap them in half or quarters and swollow them like that.

i’m not sure about sticking it up your butt, but i wouldn’t try it. o_o
if you really can’t swallow very much, crush the pills and put it on a spoon. mix it with you saliva and it should be easy to swallow, like a pixie stick.

First of all, people who are not sure should refrain from answering medical questions, but the answer is, yes it is, most medicines (unless they are designed otherwise) are best taken as a suppository, it’s just become the norm to swallow them and most people don’t like using suppositories unless they have to.
The bowel is designed to absorb, the stomach is designed to break down complex foods first into easily absorbed chemicals, medicines have already been designed to be easily absorbed and don’t need breaking down any further.
In many parts of Europe, people have less inhibitions about the rear end and this form of medication is more the norm.

One wonders why you feel the need to take them in any way. In UK they are virtually worthless as the normal Western diet is pretty complete and excess vitamins can be toxic rather than useful!

I have gastroparesis and experience nausea and upset often, which leads to poor nutrition and I am considering vitamin suppositories as I cannot handle vitamins in any form orally. The problem as I read about it is that there are few choices and I can’t handle high doses of things such as Vit B12 and E. Sooo, there are valid reasons to take vitamins rectally.
